For just how long shall your work remain unprospered? The simple truth and possible answer is, for as long as it takes to revert to God faithfully! God can not go against his word by prospering the work of a rebel, not to talk of honouring same. Anyone who acts not on God’s command is a rebel, and is tantamount to witchcraft which God himself had passed the judgment of death on as penalty. Exo. 22:18, 1 Sam. 15:22-23.
While I’m not out to pass judgment on anyone, in spite of the questionable and brazen life style cum attitude of many self-styled or self-appointed ministers (hirelings) who by their actions or inactions, are not only jeopardizing themselves, but lives of many innocent but ignorant people who have become gullible and very vulnerable in their quest for an easy way out. Not wanting to pay the price needed. Flagrantly abusing their offices and privileged positions with which they continually provoke God to wrath from his phlegmatic nature. Brethren, let’s beware! Thus I’m forced to speak against the very nefarious ways God’s work is being conducted or handled by this set of people having been fired up (not inspired or instructed as should be the case) by numerous self driven purposes. Everyone wanting to be like that “Big Minister” on television, badly blind folded by envy, emulation, pride, greed and other demonic vices. They trade their peculiarity for counterfeit positions which God himself abhors and will never associate with such a personality in his business! Brethren, your uniqueness is important! Unless you crave to light a negative fire with dire consequences. Moses did great exploit for God, even though he was impeded speech wise. (Exo. 4:10-11). God is sure to make success of his chosen no matter what. He only can help us and not the other way round!
Ever wondered why the many programmes conducted here, there and everywhere are not yielding the expected results in terms of real soul winning? It may by that God chose to distance himself because he never commanded for such at that point in time. But by mere human calculation and manipulation for vain glory, thus making God’s work frivolous and a mere routine which ought not to be. Now, what do we have to show for it? Crimes, crimes and more crimes!
For every God inspired mission or assignment, there is bound to be a target and result oriented. A guest minister once made a fool of himself by commanding in God’s name, what he was not instructed to. He told the congregation that they were to experience breakthroughs if they complied by sowing monetary seeds equaling the years the Israelite nation spent in bondage. That, that was the case where he had ministered previously. Sadly, out of over fifty-six that sowed, not a single one of them came to testify even weeks after. He left in complete shame as God distanced himself from that self propelled prophesy. Would he be obeyed next time around? Certainly not! He has been consumed by fire from God for lighting a negative fire! O! Brethren, where is your INTERGRITY? For how much did the devil purchase it? Let it be known that Christ paid a bigger and better price for a better plan for you in conformity. Rm. 12:1, Jr. 29:11
CHRIST said in Jn. 15:4, “Abide in me, and I in you, as the branch can not bear fruit of itself!” Unless we learn to abide in him who has the sole power to propel us and our ministries to success, further attempts might just be another show of shame! We all sing the praise of Christ as Messiah from our lips, while others from both sides of the mouth. One thing is sure! He gives a just recompense. Gal. 6:7.
CHRIST was an epitome of integrity and obedience. He was a faithful son who did nothing outside his Father’s command, and so, was guided to success. Crucified the King of the Jews, but circumnavigated the kind of the world by God! Haleluyah!!! Jn. 8:28.
Now, let the Nadabs and Abihus of this day learn that negative fire (doing that which they are not commanded) will still bring down fire from God upon them. But in a prolongated, dynamic and systematic manner. Beware and be blessed.
