Today I taught a class that really ministered to me. The topic was Spiritual Authority and we used the book by Watchman Nee which bears the same title. Some of the things that we covered really stood out to me. One was, ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD! No matter who the person is that holds the position whether is in political, professional or in ministry, authority itself derives from God. He commands us to submit to authority as if we are submitting to him. Therefore if we rebel against authority we rebel against God. As the creator of the earth God chose to delegate authority over earth to man. But it is the responsibility of the one who has received delegated authority to exercise it according to the will of the one who gave him the authority. The reason that there is so much chaos in the world is that mankind has not done that. We are trying to manage what God has entrusted us with without learning his plan for it's operation. This also applies on a personal level. When we choose not to live according to Gods word we throw our lives into chaos and the only way to restore order is through the word of God.
Seek God's plan for your life and get back into his line of authority and watch him transform your life!

I welcome your comments.

Thanks

thanks very much for inviting me to your site.Yes I agree with the lack of authority not just in one aspect but all aspects. We have to regain some discipline and some stability especially for our youth who seem to think regardless of how much you sin there is an explanation for it.That is something that concerns me a great deal. they just seem to not look at the right or wrong but rationalize the wrong but forget to incorporate the right. These kids need strong examples not just in one community but all communities, from both men and women. Very concerning, very.

Thanks very much for this great lessons on spiritual authority.Am blessed too for reading through it.Alots of leaders in christiandom seek to exercise authority but don,t want to be under authority. Is by being under authority that we can exercise authority in the Lord.Jesus himself learnt to submit to the authority of God to death. On the cross He still confessed "Not my will , but the will of the father.

Terrence,
Thanks for your invite to join. I understand where you are coming from regarding your sermon, You are so right that that is exactly what has gone wrong, authority is being ignored today more than ever before, and that is what leads to chaos. I had not read you message until after I joined but if you read what I wrote in the application it goes along with your sermon, unbelievable.
I have a question I would like to have you address and that is as follows: Where do you stand on the saying that some Christians use that "once saved always saved"?

Again Thanks for the Invite
God Bless

In the book of Romans, Paul describes this resurrection as a glorious deliverance from bondage: "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of G-d ... because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of G-d ... And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body" (Romans 8:19, 21, 23).

We see that, even though tragic events lie ahead, the good news is that G-d will intervene to save humanity and guide mankind into His way of life.

Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) will return to establish G-d's millennial rule, bringing His perfect government to earth. This is the wonderful, inspiring meaning of the Feast of Trumpets. HaMashiach (Christ) taught us to pray "thy kingdom come" (Matthew 6:10, KJV). How urgently we need the answer to that prayer.
Your Friend in our Lord,
Duane.

Thank you for your invite and posting this today.I am Dean Golden aka Uncle Dean a Business & Spiritual Life Coach.
I have set up one of these NING sites back in April it is not as nice or thought out as most of them I have joined since but it is what it is right? http://NewStartCommunityVoice.ning.com
Today my pastor had made a very good point. He was telling us that Someone was praying and asking God way they were not being used of him as others were. This is what God told them: Do you know what a Fern is? OK then do you know what a Bamboo tree is?
Well one day I planted two seeds one a Fern and the other a Bamboo seed. I pushed them down into the ground and watered them and gave them sun light. The Fern seed was up and growing in the first season but no sign of the bamboo I continued to water and give them Sun light to them the Fern grew even more the next year but steel no sign of the bamboo, the third year and no bamboo did I give up? No I watered and gave them sun light, the forth year no bamboo but the Fern was looking fine. The fifth year after I continued to water them we seen a small bamboo shoot through the grown. Then with in 6 weeks we have seen the Bamboo grow over 100 feet into the air.
You see the Bamboo was growing a very large and strong root system the first four to five years. It has to have this strong root system before it can grow tall and strong. So just because it dose not seem that you are a early bloomer like the Fern it dose not mean that God is not doing a work in your life building a strung root system like the Bamboo. So do not compare yourself to anyone else. God has a plan for you and your season will come.
I know that my season is coming and I am being rooted. How about you?
Uncle Dean
